The work we do today, we have good memory of it now. But overtime this memory fades away. A quick example of this is do you remember what food you at last months first Thursday? Probably not.

Us humans we have a huge bias. We require instantaneous feedback. When we do an exam we see the results the very next day. When we ask questions and talk to people, we get instant feedback. The post we do on Instagram, the likes and the comments.. are instant.

So we are engrained and built into being people who wants instant feedback. But huge results of the work you do today, you wont see the results of it until months or years later.

Results take time to come into fruition. There's a reason why Elbert Einstein said that the 8th wonder of the world is compound interest.

Life isn't how people look at it. Great things are not instantaneous. The results your seeing now is the effect to a cause that happened 2 or 3 years ago. Some ever since you were born.

Start planting the good seeds now, and realize that great things do in fact take time.

Realize that if you're fighting change, you're fighting the future. And if you're fighting the future, you don't win.
