“every moment waited is a moment wasted, and each moment wasted degrades the clarity of your purpose.” – the way of the Superior man

Purpose has been one of many beautiful topics i came across recently and its one of the topics that has changed my life drastically.

Every living being on this earth has a purpose. Every Muslim has a purpose.

Purpose drives you to give your truest gifts to the world.

It is not something you can discover in a day, week, months or even years.

For some it might take decades of patience and sacrifice to find their deepest core purpose.

Why is it hard to find your deepest purpose?

Because your purpose has been abandoned by these huge layers of new interests and desires by the influence of media and people ever since you were little. Yes, little.

Your parents might’ve wanted for you to pursue something that you dislike.

Like signing up for a dance show or a spelling bee competition and have high expectations in terms of achievement based on their desires.

All of those moments where your parents were upset because you did bad on an exam

and you were trying your level best to please them and get the good grades.

These all adds layers to your true purpose.

you might’ve seen a tiktok of a nice car or a wealthy person and envision yourself having the same lifestyle.

The poor conditioning unfortunately, has delayed or sometimes even killed the creative ability of our youth.

We cannot even blame our parents for this, the modern society has conditioned even our parents to believe and have high expectations in our youth to pursue high status careers or fields.

Do not get me wrong, for some to pursue such careers might be their purpose in itself, i’m not talking about them.

I’m talking about the visionless people who don’t know what to do with their lives.

the people who do or pursue things based on how they feel at the moment.

They may feel right now, i want to do this or be this but midway to pursuing and achieving it they have a change of heart or interest. AKA they are purposeless.

You might relate to this.

You have goals or ambitions but the goals are just not crystal clear enough to the point that you have no second thoughts about the decision.

You truly do not know what you want to be in the next 5-10 years

Easiest hack is to know more about your habits and interests right now and be really honest with yourself.

Is what im doing right now something i want to do 5-10 years from now?

What are my goals to begin with?

What can i do to make myself better aligned to my goals?

To make it even easier for you, I’ve made a list of questions for you to answer to yourself under the link below, to ease the process for you.

Answering these will help you be aware of your current situation and problems, and help identify the route to finding your true purpose.

I also wrote a guide that goes to the granular details on finding your current purpose, if you’re interested in that you can go the link here.

this is most effective when you go in depth with the answers for each question, but feel free to do it however you like.

you can either write it down on a paper ( highly recommend ) or write the answers digitally as well.
